Beacon Dowagiac Golf Outing
Held each summer, this golf outing directly supports Beacon Dowagiac hospital. The 2026 event took place on July 9, 2026, at Indian Lake Hills Golf Course and all proceeds supported local orthopedic surgical equipment.

Beacon Kalamazoo Golf for Health
Held each summer, this golf outing directly supports Beacon Kalamazoo hospital. The 2026 event took place on July 20, 2026, at Gull Lake Country Club and all proceeds supported local cardiology services.

Sunburst Race
Sunburst Races is a signature community fitness event that brings thousands of runners, walkers, families and supporters together each year to promote health and wellness while raising funds through Beacon Health Foundation to support programs and services that benefit patients and families at Beacon Children’s Hospital.

Four Winds Invitational
The Four Winds Invitational is a premier professional women’s golf tournament that brings together players, sponsors, and community supporters to raise funds through Beacon Health Foundation for life-saving equipment, programs, and services that benefit patients and families at Beacon Children’s Hospital.

Host an in-kind drive
Help us collect much needed items for our patients, family members and front-line employees. We are in continuous need of teddy bears and plush toys, blankets, toys, books and snacks for many of our sites and hospitals across the Beacon system in Indiana and Michigan.
Hosting a drive is simple, and we have all of the information and supplies you need for collection and social media awareness.

The hospitality rooms at Beacon Children’s Hospital offer a variety of healthy snacks and drinks for our families. Partners will be recognized on the unit, social media and Beacon’s website. Volunteer opportunities and tours of the hospital can also be arranged for your team.
- General Pediatrics and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit: $1,500
- Neonatal Intensive Care Unit: $1,500
- Pediatric Hematology and Oncology: $1,000
This partnership gives families in need a meal voucher to Café 615 while their child is undergoing treatment for cancer, sickle cell or other blood disorders. During the month, you’ll be recognized as a partner on the meal voucher, social media and Beacon’s website. Volunteer opportunities and tours of the children’s hospital can also be arranged for you and your team.
Who helps to calm and distract a child while a nurse puts in an IV? Who supports the divorced parents who love their dying child but can barely speak? Who helps a young patient understand their diagnosis while providing a support system and emotional development skills?
At Beacon, we have an expert Child Life and Creative Services team dedicated to easing the fear and anxiety of our children and their caregivers. They explain procedures in a way children understand and stay with them during times of critical treatment. When children are unable to speak or articulate how they feel, our Child Life team teaches them how to express themselves in nonverbal ways.
We believe someone should be there for families during their most challenging times. Because of donors like you, we can offer Child Life, Art Therapy, Music Therapy and other services to families, as these services are not covered by insurance. Partners will be recognized in the Child Life office, on social media and Beacon’s website. Volunteer opportunities and tours of the children’s hospital can also be arranged for you and your team.

Beacon Children’s Hospital offers support activities for families with a baby in the NICU, allowing families to bond while their baby is in the hospital for weeks or even months. This monthly partnership covers the cost of the supplies, snacks, drinks and staff time. Activities include cookies and painting, muffins with mom, donuts with dad, pizza parties and many more. This partnership is recognized during the activity, on social media and Beacon’s website.
