2 | Meal Trains

Healthcare Heroes across Beacon are working tirelessly taking care of patients. Please join us in helping take care of them with lunch or dinner from our local restaurants.

Consider sending a catered meal using Meal Train. Click on the hospital of your choice below, and you’ll find details needed to order the delivery.

3 | Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

For all PPE donations, please contact our Community Health Coordinator, Matt Grothouse. PLEASE BE AWARE we cannot accept items that are personally delivered to our facilities at this time. Individuals MUST contact Matt to coordinate a pick-up.

Call: 574-377-3901

Current PPE Needs Include:

  • Masks (size medium)
  • Goggles/Face Shields
  • Gloves – latex free, powder free exam gloves
  • Bunny suits and gowns

4 | Making Face Masks

Because of the incredible generosity of our community, we have reached our goal of having 20,000 handmade masks on-hand for our Associates. If you’d like to donate homemade masks now or in the coming weeks, we encourage you to reach out to other local organizations, for example: nursing homes, homeless shelters, food banks, grocery stores, etc.

If you are interested in helping make masks for other organizations, watch this video that provides information on the type of masks needed. It also includes a pattern. Masks should be made with tightly woven cotton cloth.

Questions? Call 574-647-2400.
